Zohra Orphanage

Academic Progress:

Alhamdulillah in the month of January Zohra Orphanage hired young women (Full time) to stay at the hostel with the girls. This gave big moral supports to the girls especially older girls. Almost every month they are conducting motivational speaking sessions.

Results:

To establish a base line Alhamdulillah we got excellent results. This year 10 th grade board exam there were 11 girls. Out of 8 girls received “First Class” i.e. grade “A”
I am in touch with Zohra administration on regular basis. Our involvement and support provided great moral impact to the management and girls on the ground.

Next Steps

The objective of constructing this 16 large size room two wings is to provide higher education to these Orphan’s and under privileged girls while continuing preserving their culture i.e. knowledge of Urdu language and practicing religion of Islam. Builder agreed to construct these rooms (Wing) on cost without taking any profit while keeping promise of his construction time. Picture was taking in December 2018 when construction begun with pillars
My second visit to Gulbarga was in April 2019. Alhamdulillah entire two wings (with 16 rooms) were constructed with roof. As you can see girls are happily enjoying standing on the roof of the new wing. Final finishing of the rooms is stopped due to shortage of water. Floor tiles were purchased material is on site once monsoon starts we get the water and final finishing will be done. It was amazing how blessed we are here and use water without thinking. Currently in India (especially in Gulbarga) water bore-wells dried. People buy water by tankers
